Kids 4 Chicos is a humanitarian organization that is run by kids of the US for children around the planet. Our goal is to provide the detained children with the chance to reinvent their lives as citizens of the United States. Kids 4 Chicos was first founded in January of 2020 when the issue at the United States border was becoming increasingly dire for the children detained at our border. We realize our privileges as children of the United States and hope to share these opportunities with kids around the globe. The money raised is being used to pay for the filing fees of immigration attorneys for both legal and humanitarian assistance. for the children in the detention centers at the border. Every child deserves a chance and we strive to be a step in this path to equality for children seeking freedom in the US.

My name is Avery Colombo and I am a 16 year old from Florida. Growing up with a father as an immigrant and and immigration attorney, I have always been interested in immigration into the United States because I believe that the US can offer many opportunities to those who wish to improve their life. The recent events occurring at our border inspired me to create a way for these children to have a chance at life and freedom in the United States. My American Dream is to give every child a chance.

My name is Emily Sher and I am a 16 year old. My parents have engrained moral values within my sister and I to accept all humans. Although this has been an ongoing issue, as I have grown older and more aware of the social injustices within our country, it is evident that we as a country are not acting upon these morals. When Avery came to me with this opportunity for change, I immediately wanted to be involved.
